Golden, CO – Gunslinger Custom Paint, one of the nation’s premier custom paint shops, recently painted the 2007 Limited Edition Vespa LX 50 in a custom Crazy Stripe design by Gap for Vespa’s current promotion with the Gap.
The Crazy Stripe design, which incorporates nine different colors, was designed exclusively by Gap. Seven (7) Gap stores nationwide will have a brightly colored scooter on display. “This is a great opportunity to showcase Gunslinger’s quality to potential new clientele,” stated Jeff Theisen, President of Gunslinger Custom Paint. “The Crazy Stripe was something out of the ordinary for us,” continued Theisen. “We are usually painting wild and extreme designs for the American cruiser market. Painting these Vespas for Gap has been a unique experience.”
Gunslinger Custom Paint works directly with other major motorcycle factories, painting over 80 bikes a week. “Our day-to-day operations consist of painting new parts. The Crazy Stripe project required us to strip-down the new Vespas, paint the entire vehicle with all nine colors, and re-assemble it for delivery,” noted Theisen. “It was a project that allowed us to use the many talents of our employees. Seeing all the identical bikes lined-up was impressive”.
The custom painted scooters can be seen at select Gap stores in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Details on how to purchase this unique Vespa are available exclusively at gap.com/vespa. The 2007 Limited Edition Vespa LX 50 in a custom Crazy Stripe design by Gap is available while supplies last, or by special order until December 23, 2007.
